La misión de la Asociación Nacional es de desarrollar el movimiento Compagnons Bâtisseurs y de poner en práctica sus proyectos sociales destinados a ayudar familias con dificultades construyendo y/o mejorando casas con el objetivo de reforzar la solidaridad entre los ciudadanos.

Together with the professional teams, the volunteers will work with the inhabitants who are facing difficult situations (link with personal, social, economical or health problems...) to help them in the renovation of their homes. The main objective is to run some technical works to improve the flat or the house but also to share good moments with these families and maybe try to bring a new and positive dynamic into their homes and their lives. Depending on specific opportunities, the volunteers could also get involved in local or national projects like collective workshops link with the recycling process or particular technics. The volunteers will live and work as part of the team, sharing a flat with 2 or 3 other volunteers. The project is open to everyone interested by manual and social work. It can host persons between 18 and 30 years old from different nationalities and backgrounds with or without preliminary knowledge in renovation or social work.
